Alyssa Valdez is one of the most promising athletes in UAAP women’s basketball and she has proved that each and every year she is improving her game. Right now in 2014, she has been elected as the captain of the team and she has a huge responsibility in keeping the teams teamwork. As a captain of the team, Alyssa Valdez works so hard so that her teammates will be inspired as well. During her junior season, she was named as the athlete of the year and because of that achievement, when she turned college she was directly a part of the Ateneo de Manila University volleyball team.

Winning the athlete of the year award during her junior season was one of the memorable achievements of Alyssa Valdez. Right now she is trying so hard to improve her game so that she will be able to help her team and win another UAAP championship. The effort and performance of Alyssa Valdez made her win the athlete of the year award and she truly deserves that particular award because she worked so hard for it. Alyssa Valdez is still young and for sure she has a bright future in the world of volleyball. She loves the sport so much and she is totally focused and dedicated in improving her skill as the team captain of the Ateneo de Manila University Lady eagles.

I am a huge fan of Alyssa Valdez and I am hoping that she will continue to play with great intensity. I believe that she is one of the best volleyball players in the collegiate level that the country has ever seen yet she still works so hard in order to improve her game. She is a valuable asset for the Ateneo de Manila University and she is one athlete that always strives for greatness and improves her game. One thing I like about her is that each and every game, she always put her team in a position to win and that’s a great sign for a team captain. Her teammates know that they could count on her especially on the crunch time.
